In order to promote the networking of the Saxon dance scene this year, euro-scene Leipzig is awarding scholarships (for travel expenses and hotels costs) to dancers from Saxony for the first time.

In cooperation with the 4fT Tanzplattform Leipzig, professional trainings and workshops will again take place during the festival week. These are led by the international choreographers and dancers who are participating at the festival. We will cover travel and hotel costs for participants from Saxony (living outside Leipzig).

PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS

Choreographers and dancers offer participants the opportunity to continue their education in various styles and techniques.

• Tuesday, 8.11. – 10.00 until 11.30 Uhr with Panaibra Gabriel Canda
• Wednesday, 9.11. – 10.00 until 11.30 Uhr with Panaibra Gabriel Canda
• Thursday, 10.11. – 10.00 until 11.30 Uhr with tanzmainz (Federico Longo)
• Friday, 11.11. – 10.00 until 11.30 Uhr with Compagnie Recirquel (Yevheniia Obolonina)

WORKSHOPS

In two workshops by Ty Boomershine (Artistic Director and Dancer / Dance On Ensemble, Berlin) and Eric Oberdorff (Compagnie Humaine, Nice), participants will gain an exclusive insight into the creation of a piece as well as different dance techniques and artistic working methods.

• Tuesday, 8.11. until Saturday, 12.11. – each day 13.00 until 15.00 Uhr with Eric Oberdorff

WE OFFER

• Travel expenses from Saxony up to a maximum of EUR 100 (cheapest option, Saver Fare, 2nd class)
• Payment of hotel costs in our partner hotel for up to three nights (single room incl. breakfast, https://hrewards.com/de/intercityhotel-leipzig)
• Participation in professional trainings (own contribution EUR 6 each) and/or workshops (own contribution EUR 25 each)
• Visits of performances at the festival from 8th to 13th Nov. 2022 (reduced ticket price)
