The Köln Concert

Choreographer Trajal Harrell will show his first work as director of the new dance company at the Schauspielhaus Zurich at the opening of the 31st euro-scene Leipzig. A dance piece to the most famous solo piano recording of all time - Keith Jarrett's THE KÖLN CONCERT.

Einblicke (Insights)

euro-scene Leipzig is anchoring itself even more firmly in the city of Leipzig. For this purpose, we enter into a close partnership with regional artists for two years at a time. First "Associate Artists" for the years 2021/2022 is the Forward Dance Company of LOFFT - DAS THEATER

Bisonte

Six dancers create an ecstatic firework of movements between tribe and club culture - electrifying sound rhythms, pulsating dance, strong poses make the stage shake and thereby break a heteronormative corset.

СЧАСТЬЕ (The happiness)

How to reconcile people with the fleeting, sincere and deep feeling of happiness? Starting from this question, Russian director Tatiana Frolova continues her long-time reflection on the social and political situation in Russia in счастье (Happiness).

Allee der Kosmonauten (Cosmonauts avenue)

The Sophiensaele in Berlin Mitte opened in September 1996 with the world premiere of ALLEE DER KOSMONAUTEN. Since then, the choreographic concept has been considered legendary and has had over 150 performances worldwide, including nearly 80 in Germany.

Amores de Leste (Love in the East)

AMORES DE LESTE (Love in the East) is a co-production of euro-scene Leipzig with Culturgest in Lisbon and Theatre de la Ville in Paris. The play deals with the lives of young Portuguese anti-fascist activists.

Behind the scenes at the arte film shoot

After a year of pause and standstill, the dance scene and, under new management, euro-scene Leipzig are embarking on a new era. For the first time, we are teaming up with our long-time media partner ARTE, Accentus Music and Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig for a film essay about young choreographers.
