Marin / Schröder
- Leipziger Ballett / Oper Leipzig
With DUO D’EDEN (1986) and GROSSE FUGE (2001), the Leipzig Ballet presents two classics from the oeuvre of the great French dancer and choreographer Maguy Marin for the first time.
Ballet director and chief choreographer Mario Schröder creates a world premiere to the music of the contemporary French composer Pascal Dusapin,
thus creating an additional surface of friction between his movement language
and Maguy Marin’s choreographic work.
