Performances nach Chansons von Edith Piaf

Traudi Förscher, from Ebersberg near Munich, appeared as a »surprise guest« on the closing night of euro-scene Leipzig 2000, after the final exit and prize giving for the competition »Das beste deutsche Tanzsolo« (»Best German dance solo«). Dressed in a full body sock, she gave an abstract and humorous performance, brilliantly choreographed to two songs by Edith Piaf, which enchanted the audience with her French charm.
In her professional work as a music and movement teacher, Traudi Förscher also appears as a performer, musician and singer. Together with other musicians, she performs rock, pop, jazz and folk songs, sometimes with a scenic interpretation. In July 2000, at her daily appearance in the square outside the papal palace during the festival in Avignon, she gained thunderous applause from the audience that always gathered there in large numbers and she was invited to the euro-scene Leipzig as a result.
