Four young women conquer the world. This choreography by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker marked the beginning of a new era of contemporary dance in 1983 and enjoys cult status today.

Swiss Marie-Caroline Hominal receives each member of the audience individually in an artist’s dressing room. This small performance, based on the poems of the poet Petrarch, raises questions of fame and retreat.

The novel »2666« by the Chilean writer Roberto Bolaño serves as the point of departure for the performance by Laia Fabre and Thomas Kasebacher about violence, reality and fiction.

Under the title of a song by Franz Schubert, Italian director Romeo Castellucci created a piece about harmony and apocalyptic mood – an irritatingly fascinating music theatre play.

A man sits down and begins to write a letter; 15 times without a word and in a different style each time. The solo from 1992 has become a classic of comedy theatre with more than 1,200 performances to date.

A woman, half-human, half-insect, brings objects to life. This solo with Nicole Mossoux reminds one of a 1950s horror film.

In the 1980s, there were a number of dance venues in Budapest. In this context, a captivating story develops about a folk music researcher who falls in love with his seven-year-old stepdaughter and is blackmailed by the secret service.

Two figures, a kind of bird people, are searching for the original state of the soul while wandering. The French choreographer Josef Nadj created a dance piece where the two dancers enter into a fascinating dialogue with two jazz musicians.
