Showing Showing of the dramaturgical-translation workshop SPIELMATERIAL ÜBERSETZEN
On the initiative of the Bureau du Théâtre et de la Danse / Office for Theatre and Dance, Institut Français Germany
We would like to invite you to the public scenic reading of SPIELMATERIAL ÜBERSETZEN. The basis of the workshop is the autobiographically inspired, multilingual theatre project OST by the French-Syrian director Leyla-Claire Rabihm and the Syrian-Lebanese actor Elie Youssef. The workshop will be headed by the director and translator Leyla-Claire Rabih and the translator and cultural journalist Frank Weigand, who is advising the OST production dramaturgically. French and Arabic text excerpts will be translated by the participants into German based on various approaches.
