International artists present work in progress and offer insights into the development of their next pieces.
After a shared lunch in Remiversum, the new project space by Anne Zacho Søgaard and Hermann Heisig, art and its creation take center stage in this dialogue format – with a particular focus on research methods and collaborative processes of negotiation. Together, participants reflect on the conditions and needs of artistic work.

Wednesday 4 November: with Soheil Boroumand
Soheil Boroumand presents a work-in-progress preview of ICH HABE EINE AHNUNG VOM ENDE (I Have a Sense of the End), a performance he is developing with Maryvonne Riedelsheimer, Philipp Rücker and Marina Ianina. Inspired by Heiner Müller’s final work, TRAUMTEXT (Dream Text), the production explores death, farewell and the complexities of taking on and letting go of responsibility. Written shortly before his death, Müller’s text also reflects on his responsibility towards his two-year-old daughter.
Rather than presenting a complete performance, Boroumand shares an excerpt from his own text and samples of music already composed for the production, offering audiences an insight into the creative process.
Soheil Boroumand is an actor, playwright and musician. He has worked at theatres across Germany, including in Nuremberg, Wiesbaden, Osnabrück and Altenburg. Based in Leipzig since 2020, he works in theatre, film and television.
Premiere of the full production: 30 December 2026, 8 pm, Schaubühne Lindenfels
Thursday 5 November: with Fang Yun Lo
Under the label Polymer DMT, the Taiwanese director and choreographer Fang Yun Lo has been working on artistic formats together with artists from various disciplines since 2011. Polymer DMT is based in Essen and Dresden/Germany as well as in Taichung/Taiwan.
“Identity for me is a process, a technique, an eternal movement and questioning. More and more people will have mixed cultural roots, not only in Germany and Europe. I understand this as a great gift.”
From intimate dance pieces in the early days, the artistic focus has expanded in recent years towards (semi-)documentary stage projects, encounter formats, work with film and media, and dance for young audiences. Polymer DMT works in international co-production with institutions in Germany, Taiwan and worldwide. The exchange between Asia and Europe also forms an important basis for their work.
Fang Yun and her collaborators are interested in social and political issues and developments, especially in the area of people from different cultures and backgrounds living together. They are interested in people and their stories and in their activities, they are committed to accessibility, inter- and transcultural sensitivity, environmental sustainability, and fair and non-discriminatory work. All the works use multilingual translation, and welcomes audio-description and sign language collaborations.
Her piece THE SEAS BETWEEN US was presented at euro-scene Leipzig in 2025.
2027 Fang Yun Lo will premiere her new work at euro-scene Leipzig.
