Hip-Hop and Street Dance Take Centre Stage: Five productions in this year’s programme – three of them on the main stage!
Hip-hop, street dance and club cultures are transforming the dance landscape worldwide – it is no exaggeration to speak of an artistic revolution. What began on streets, in public squares and in clubs has long since conquered stages around the world. The energy, playfulness, appetite for risk and extraordinary stage presence of the dancers bring a thrilling new dynamism to contemporary dance.
With five productions, three of them on the main stage of Schauspiel Leipzig, this development will be more visible than ever before at euro-scene Leipzig, from 3 to 8 November 2026.
